critique this school list

looking to be in brand management (international)... probably followed by more of a general management roll, but maybe consulting long term

Kellogg
Tuck
Cornell
Darden
Haas
Harvard
Georgetown
U of Washington / Foster

don't expect to apply to all of them.... but which do you think stick out (in a good or bad way)

look forward to hearing people's thoughts, which schools do/do not go together, etc...

You have a listed a lot of top schools, many of which have ultra-competitive admissions processes. Kellogg is definitely a strong marketing school while Tuck has a strong general management program. However, the schools you listed vary in terms on student culture, location (some in cities while some are more remote), and strengths. You should invest in an MBA admissions book to get a better feel for the differences (not just the admissions metrics) so that you can make an informed decision about where to apply. The schools which fit you best will also depend on your background and profile.

Many people who attend Georgetown usually plan to go into quangos or some international organization that does not necessarily perform the functions of a private enterprise. That is not to say that some go on to the private sector. It is a program that focuses on making you a global individual and business person. Also, as you probably know, it is located in Washington, DC, which makes it a great place to gain access to some of the most powerful global organizations.

Tuck specializes in general management, as does Harvard. Kellogg is all about leadership and teamwork, and is therefore a great for pretty much any industry you would to go into, unless is it specialized such as supply chain management or pharmaceutical management.

Haas is an absolutely awesome place to attend if you want to go into the high-tech industry or want to work for a company that services companies in that industry. For example, if you have a legal background or finance background and want to work for a law firm or venture capital firm that serves the high-tech sector, Haas is a great place to be - along with Stanford.

Don't know much about the other programs.
