2 Weeks to the test. Need Help

by jpnguyen » Tue Oct 27, 2009 2:02 am
Okay, so I did a little bit of studying just out of college in august and boosted my GMATPrep quant scores from 50 percentile to about 77 and was going to continue that route but dropped the idea of going to grad school for finance. Now, I have decided to enter an ms in accountancy program... Long story short, I put off studying for the GMAT.

And I need help quick!

I haven't did any studying for the verbal section yet besides kaplan 2009 premier for CR.

Just took the MGMAT Free CAT(Quant section) and scored in the 57 percentile. Biggest fault was data sufficiency.

CR problems include strengthen/weakening and my grammar diagnostics were good as its one of my strengths.

Problem solving questionable areas include distance/rate/time and some other little nick nacks. But overall, i'm good on the 500-600 problems.

Overall, i'm in desparate need of something quick. I'm planning to purchase OG 12 tomorrow and spend about 5-6 hours a day until test day, studying. I want to get as close to 700 as possible.

For 2 weeks of studying. What is going to give me the best preparation? OG12?

I would use OG12 for practice problems, but the explanations suck pretty bad.

If you're looking for a thorough review, thinking about investing in a good quant review book. Do you know what your weak areas are?
