MBA after MS in Mechanical Engineering

by trigunj86 » Wed Oct 02, 2013 9:24 am
Hello,

I am planning to do my MBA and was curious to know if it was good idea.

Here is my profile :

1) Done my MS in Mechanical engineering from top -20 schools in US
2) I have been now working in US with an oil and gas company from past 5 years

My goal is to move from technical to management side and I thought MBA would help me to do that .

Also MBA would help me to boost pay raise also

PLease advise

Thank You

Well, what you write makes sense. An MBA can for sure help you move to management and get higher pay (that's what it's there for), so you are barking up the right tree my friend...
