I will be giving my GMAT exam this Sunday.

Before giving GMAT Prep Test 2, I took GMAT Prep Test1 7-8 times to extract as many questions as possible from it.

I gave Test 2 twice, and I found in both the instances that Quant questions were pretty easy.

Is that because I finished almost all the 700-800 questions in Prep 1 and therefore those did not appear in Prep2?

One question for those who have already taken the GMAT

Do GMAT Prep questions not reflect the exact level of quant questions asked in real GMAT? Did you find real GMAT questions tougher than the GMAT prep questions?

TIA

I guess this is not the right time to ask yourself this question. Do not let these kinds of thoughts in you. Be relaxed and just say to yourself that "GMATPrep is ofcourse the best indicator of the real exam and I've done the GMATPrep really well. So, there's no reason why I cannot replicate my performance in actual exam".

Hi John,

GMATPrep indeed reflects the level of questions on the GMAT.

You may find the next time you take GMATPrep Test 2 that there are a lot of overlapping questions with the tests you've already taken. I commend you for taking the GMATPrep test so many times; In my experience the best prepared test takers are those who have mastered the questions in GMATPrep.

If you're aiming for a very high score and want to practice on all the 700+ level questions in GMATPrep, use the Solutions Engine from GMATFix. The SE allows you to search for all the questions in GMATPrep by topic as well as difficulty. For instance you could find all 'Coordinate Geometry' questions of difficulty '600-700 or 700+'. You can also generate timed drills from the results, so this is a useful way to practice targeted topics at a high level. Finally, all questions are accompanied by very detailed explanations, including video solutions to quant questions.

Because your test is in a couple of days, I would not recommend that you buy access to the Engine; just use the free trial to practice (free trial gives you access to everything). Send me a PM if you have trouble getting free access.

Good luck on Sunday!
