Plzzzz help me out

No of accidents : 0 1 2 3 4 5 6

No of drivers : 17 13 21 4 2 2 1


The table shows the results of a poll which asked drivers how many accidents they had had over the previous 5 years. What is the median number of accidents per year?

A. 0.5
B. 1
C. 1.5
D. 2
E. 4


I really find it difficult to do problem when it is given in a tabular form of values . can any one tell me how to make it feel easy. i know the general formula for mean median mode

To find the median- the numbers need to be in ascending order, which they are already

Number of accidents 0 1 2 3 4 5 6

Number of drivers 17 13 21 4 2 2 1

Total number of drivers = 60

Median of number of accidents per driver is between 30th and 31st driver = (1+2)/2= 1.5 C
