Dear rdchandvadkar,

Time is of the essence to be considered for the classes entering in the fall of 2010 at the schools you note in your post. Many of these schools have a February deadline for international applicants, so be sure to check with each school for its deadline. While your academic performance in your degree programs is strong, your GMAT is low relative to other Indian applicants at your target schools. It will be imperative the rest of your application be strong for you to have a chance at these schools, even if you score a 650 on the GMAT. You will need a strong set of essays and recommendations to distinguish you from the competition and make a compelling case for your admission. This year is particularly tough for admission and you are applying late in the cycle for 2010 entry; thus you need to give the admissions committees many reasons to want you in the class and little to no reasons to reject you.

Good luck,
Lisa
