Hello,
I am in the process of completing my applications to the evening programs at Kellogg and Booth to start Fall 2010. I expect to complete the application for Booth this week and Kellogg's next week. Below are the deadlines for each school. Do you think it is considered pretty late in the game to have a decent chance of getting accepted? I know that Kellogg allows applicants submit their applications as early as a year in advance of when they want to start.

Booth: July 1, 2010
Kellogg: Round 1: June 11, 2010 and Final Round 2: July 16, 2010

I would love to start during Fall 2010, but considering that it is almost May, should I submit my applications for Winter 2011 instead?

Applicant Profile:
Age & Gender: 26, Female
GMAT: 690 (Q 44 V 39) AWA 6
Work Experience: 4 years (2 at Morgan Stanley, 2 at boutique investment firm)
Undergrad GPA: 3.5 (Major 3.78) B.S. in biochemistry from U.C.S.D.

I would really appreciate any feedback or insight. Thank you!

You should absolutely submit your applications now! You are still ahead of the deadline and your chances to be admitted shouldn't change based on which "class" you are applying to (if you are qualified for winter, you are also qualified for fall!).

Sometimes, classes start to fill up and it is a little more competitive as the final deadline approaches. However, usually in this case a qualified applicant is waitlisted. If this is the case (and you are waitlisted for the fall), I would suggest that you then call the admissions office to discuss your options (you can express your desire to attend the program and ask if you can be considered for the winter start date).

Also, you would be surprised how many candidates wait until the last minute to apply. Many applicants are submitting their application the day it is due so you are actually in pretty good shape.

I was a full time Booth MBA and I submitted my application at the very last minute (for the 3rd deadline) and was accepted so I know it happens!!

Thank you for your valuable input! Initially, I was secure with my timeline and my own deadline of having everything submitted by end of April. But as I started reading more posts on here, I started to think that I was very behind. I will definitely submit my apps soon for Fall. Again, thank you for your feedback!

Jessica - I'm happy to report that I followed your advice and submitted my apps to Booth and Kellogg P/T programs. I was offered admission to both schools. Still currently deciding between the two excellent schools. I wanted to thank you again for the valuable advice!
