A - " of there being" incorrect

B - "hypothesis of mental functions" is wrong, changes meaning

C- correct

D-"which is that" -wordy

E -"is......is that there are" --grammatically incorrect

C in about 30 seconds as well.... in my head when I was reading the sentence initially i said "no it should be... that" then I saw that only one answer choice made that correction

Hypothesis that.. is the correct usage here....

In choice (D) & (E)... usage of " which" is wrong here. It is wordy.
