Hence A) should be correct.

B and some to attack and subdue prey - Breaks the parallelism - Incorrect

C and some by attacking and subduing prey - Breaks the parallelism - Incorrect

D with some to attack and subdue prey - Breaks the parallelism - Incorrect

E and in attacking and in subduing prey - There is a meaning error here.
Normally we say some doing X while others doing Y. Per the sentence, not everybody doing all the tasks. If that is the case, Option E) might be correct.
In this context - Incorrect
