Queens EMBA or Ivey EMBA

by ussinp » Thu Jan 10, 2013 12:25 pm
Could any body give their feedback on which of the above programs are better in terms of better job opportunities after the program and the average salaries.

Is it better to do an EMBA or a full time MBA if one had a choice to both and why?

Your responses will be highly appreciated.

EMBA and full time MBA programs are designed for different profiles: an EMBA is typically structured for working professionals with 7+ years of experience, whereas full time MBAs are designed for people with between 2-8 years of experience who step away from their careers to study.

Given that EMBA students continue to work while studying, career changes after graduation are not as common as they are for students in full time programs; there are often vertical moves within organizations, but not the industry and role changes that we see for full time MBA students.

I'd be happy to speak in more detail about Ivey's programs so feel free to email me at [email protected] Also, there's an MBA Fair taking place in Toronto on February 9th (https://www.topmba.com/qs-world-mba-tour ... ca/toronto?) and both Ivey and Queen's will be represented.
