Hi all,
I just got a 610 and am confused as to whether or not I should take it again. I scored between 600-650 on all practice exams and I am sure that with some more studying I can get between 640-680. I work in DC and am considering part-time MBA programs at Maryland and Georgetown. Do you think I have a shot at both of them or should I retake the GMAT sometime next month? Thanks for your thoughts!

- GMAT Score:640
is that score within the 80% range?
My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.

I agree with this. Also, you most definitely have a shot at UMD Smith. 580 is their lower range, meaning you are where you need to be.gsbjake wrote:I think you would have a chance at Georgetown if you beef up the remainder of your resume and have some connects to the school/area.
But GMAT is only one part of your application. With that score, you are in the "let's take a closer look at the rest of the application" pile. So what does the rest of it look like? (GPA, work exp, etc.)
