School Selection Question

by shaden » Sat Nov 15, 2008 5:58 pm
I am taking the GMAT next week, and I have a question about the process. The GMAT people on the phone told me I select the schools to send my scores to at the test center. Do I get to see the scores before which schools to send them to? Or do I need to pick the schools first and then see the scores.

Thanks a ton,
-Dave

You need to pick the scores first.

You could always not pick any schools and order score reports later. But, in that case, you'll need to pay about $30 per score report. You get five for "free" as part of the cost of your test, if you pick the schools beforehand.

Also, note that schools will see all of your scores from the past five years, So, whether you send it now or later, the school will see the score anyway.

Thanks Jim,

I am assuming you mean I need to pick my schools first, if I got to pick my score, as you suggest, I would not be studying this hard :)

Do I pick my schools before or after my test?

Does it go > Pick Schools > Test > See Score
or Test > Pick Schools > See Score

Thanks,
-Dave

Right:

1. Pick schools
2. Take test
3. See score
