Yet another one..

Primate Linguistics Expert: An intelligence assessment is an important part of a successful training routine because it allows us to determine which chimpanzees will be capable of learning sign language.

The primate linguistics expert's argument above logically depends on which of the following assumptions?

A) A successful training routine includes many hundreds of hours of training, and it sometimes still fails.

B) The assessment can accurately determine whether a chimpanzee has the neccesary intelligence to learn sign language.

C) Intelligence assessments on chimpanzees do not have to be administered by professional trainers.

D) The only purpose of an intelligence assessment is to identify the ability of certain chimpanzees to learn sign language.

E) The degree of a chimpanzee's intelligence is the most important factor in its ability to learn sign language.

If we negate this conclusion is not valid.
