Cat Owner Weaken Except

Option C is simply saying that the cat owners have other elements of lower stress. This is not weakening the argument that having a pet decreases stress.

In other words, let us say that stress is decreased by 2 factors A and B. John has both factors. Tim has only B. John having A does not preclude Tim having B. If B is decreases stress for John, it also does so for Tim. The presence of A has no effect on B.

B - stress reduction due to a pet
