IMO C:

There are 2-3 types of major issue, uses of which, parallelism, and pronoun it.

in A, which refers to acre which makes the meaning of the sentence illogical, as acre doesn't bringed the action.

in B, the parallelism is clearly broken, it bought and bringing.

D has several issue to mention, including obvious meaning.

E: Intruder it has several antecedents including US, Penn... etc.

IMO C

A. which is a relative pronoun that modifies noun immediately before it. An acre cannot double the size and bring ..., it is the purchase
B. parallelism is broken.
D. I think the main problem with D is, we have many modifiers but they are not glued properly.
E. US bought it, it does not have clear antecedent.
