GPA Dilemma

by Ramneet Singh » Mon Jan 09, 2012 2:35 pm
Is 2.75 the passing GPA for US UG programs.I am from India and my college followed the 4.0 GPA system with 2.0 as the passing mark.So You found a lot of students having GPA between 2.0 and 3.0 too. I already submitted essays for Duke and LBS . Should i email them this info.I am not sure whether 2.75 is the pass mark for US UG Programs . This info is important because that why scores less than 3 are considered craptacular.

Well, in general, the Adcoms ARE aware of the differences between US and Indian systems. But having said that, it doesn't hurt to remind them.
