Hello,
I'm a 28 year-old male investment banking sr. associate at a broker/dealer in Manhattan. I went to undergrad at Franklin and Marshall (Majored in Government. Cum GPA 3.0), completed a graduate program at Columbia (Business studies. Cum GPA 3.33), and have worked at 2 of the largest investment banks (Bear Stearns and Credit Suisse), and am now at a boutique firm with members from the blue chip banks. I currently manage an office and have acted as the lead on certain deals. Been working for 5 years.
My gmats, however, are somewhat dismal (600 GMAT, 6.0 on writing samples). I plan on getting a great recommendation from my CEO and another colleague. My essays appear above average.
My question is, what programs can I realistically expect to get into? Wanted to shoot for Columbia (either FT or EMBA), NYU (FT or PT), Yale, Dartmouth, and Harvard. Am I spinning my wheels here or do I legitimately have a shot?
Thank you
