You are defying from your own logic.
Explain why Knewton's sentence is right.
You are simply restating what I stated "which cannot by logic modify people". similarly US by logic cannot be a pick up truck.
So you are self -contradicting and hence proving my argument.
This is an example from oxford dictionary :
relative pronoun & determiner
used referring to something previously mentioned when introducing a clause giving further information:
[as pronoun] :
a conference in Vienna which ended on Friday
Tell me what ended on friday? You will say Vienna but I will say conference.
Take any grammar book and it will tell you that which or any relative pronoun's verb depends on the antecedent of that pronoun.

Hi Rishab,
You stated which cannot by logic modify people.
Thats not true. There is no logic in this. English grammar (in Black and White) does not allow this. For example:
He got into an argument with his teammates and they used abusive language.
they in the above sentence can only refer to teammates (not to digress from the point, but just to make obvious that you don't need logic in this, just grammar).
Similarly, in the OG example you stated, grammar does not allow which are to modify Susan for the reasons mentioned in my previous mail.
I cannot respond to any sentence in an unofficial source (No offence to Knewton or any other prep institute at all).
p.s. My totally unsolicited request to you would be to use less personal language. For obvious reasons, this would be my last mail on the subject (not that you care).

Really. Here is the proof in black and white that which must modify things and who, whom must modify people.
Also that cannot modify people.
I don't know about you,99% people on this forum, including me worship MGMAT SC guide and no one, including me,will even dare to question Oxford dictionary usage.

I hereby,rest my case.
