1)the 1991 study shows nauseating effects are stimulated by paracetamol as by ibuprofen
2)the 1991 study shows nauseating effects are stimulated by paracetamol as done by ibuprofen
3)the 1991 study shows paracetamol stimulates nauseating effects as does ibuprofen
4)the 1991 study shows nauseating effects are stimulated by paracetamol as are stimulated by ibuprofen

i think 1),3),4) are correct but 2) is incorrect
is it so

1. Incorrect :- As cannot be used to compare phrases.

IMO

1. incorrect - as is used to compare actions and thus 'as done' is required
2. correct
3. incorrect because not parallel - as ibuprofen does -> correct
4. incorrect - wordy - as are simulated

Yeah i said correct for 4 because it is logically and structurally correct. However, you can eliminate for being wordy.
