k^2 = 14*14 = 196
Let t = 3
196 / 3 = 65.33333333 which is not a terminal decimal.
Let t = 5
196 / 5 = 39.2 which is a terminating decimal.
Therefore 1) is not sufficient.
2) t = 5
You can check...any square when divided by 5 will give a terminating decimal.
