Question about Scoring

by jintaonow » Tue Feb 09, 2010 2:05 pm
GMATPrep: 590, 620
PR GMAT CAT: 610, 660
Powerprep: 610, 620

Just took the GMAT after using only Cracking the GMAT and online help, did not use the OG. Got a 670 (target: 690, but refuse to give GMAC another cent of my money!). Here's my question: On the last queston of both Q and V sections I selected an answer but the time ran out before I could hit "Next." I know that an incorrect that late in the test probably wouldn't effect my score very much, but do those answers count? Or does the GMAT ignore them (like my plea for a variance due to the difficulty lefties have writing on those smearable boards).

so you didn't finish the 2 click process to submitting your answer?

I guess that your answers to the last question will be counted towards your score as long as you've selected the answer in radio button.

it's a good question... definitely a sucky situation though if by some chance it's not counted. I don't know if there's any way that you can verify if it was or wasn't :-/

As long as you had an answer checked, it counts, even if you didn't submit it.
Don't stop believin'...
