jellybeans : word problem + weighted average

A grocery store sells two varieties of jelly bean jars, and each type of jellybean jar contains only red and yellow jellybeans. If jar B contains 20% more red jellybeans than jar A , but 10% fewer yellow jellybeans, and jar A contains twice as many red jellybeans as yellow jellybeans,by what percent is the number of jellybeans in jar B larger than the number of jellybeans in jar A ?

It goes like this:-
Let R in jar A nd B be x and y,Yellow in jar A and B be a and b.
y=1.2x =2.4a
b=0.9a
x=2a
We have to find (b+y) - (a+x)/(b+y)=3.3 -3 / 3 =1/11 = 9.09%

Jar A : R, Y --> 2Y , Y total = 3Y
Jar B : 1.2R, 0.9 Y --> 2.4 Y , 0.9Y
so total in jar B = 2.4 + 0.9 = 3.3Y
so percent is the number of jellybeans in jar B larger than the number of jellybeans in jar A = (3.3Y - 3Y)/3Y x 100 = [spoiler]10%Ans ..[/spoiler]

Harsh I think u did a mistake here .. we have to calculate percent is the number of jellybeans in jar B larger than the number of jellybeans in jar A so the reference is A. So you should calculate it this way
(b+y) - (a+x)/(a+x) = 3.3-3 /3 = 10 %

actually u messes up the things above ...written expression correct ...though..
