Hi ...
has anyone given veritas prep mock test available on their site? And if yes then how is the experience??
I gave the test today and found that few questions were wrong. such as ... - sign was used in place of =, 8 is given as a multiple of 3. Also quant had lots of Data interpretation questions which i have not encountered in Gprep ...
also i don't know how do they evaluate the test. Got 34 out of 37 correct in quant( out of 3 mistakes , 2 were because of wrong questions) ..and my mistakes were scattered (1 wrong in first 10, second around 24 and last was 31st question i think) ... still got 49 .(even kaplan is not so strict.
).. The level of questions was not anywhere close to GPREP...they were toooo easy... esp DS was a cakewalk...
...
verbal too was not close to Gprep... i could not agree with most of their answers ...
This test was confidence snapping ( not while i was giving it but how the test was evaluated) .... Am not aginst veritas but that was my experience...i would say better to stay away from it if your exam is close....
i think i expected a lot from veritas prep but in the end the experience was not as good as it was in the case of kaplan and Manhattan...(not mentioning gprep since it is class apart)
thnx
