A certain copy machine is set to reduce an image by 13%. If Steve photocopies a document on this machine, and then photocopies the copy on the same machine, what percent of the original will his final image size be?

let initial size be x
after photocopying it will be 0.87*x = 0.87x
after photocopying the photocopy it will be 0.87*0.87x
=> almost 0.76x =>nearly 76%

to reduce by 13% is to leave new image 87% OR 0.87

in life, it's 0.87*0.87 should be 0.64 < final image <0.81

>>>to assess more precisely take 7 units after 0.80 (0.87) and distribute on the 10-unit line
difference (0.81-0.64)/10=0.017 -> 0.017*7=0.119; 0.64+0.119=0.759 (it must be very close)

final ans: ~76%
