Hello all,
I was recently accepted to both schools I applied to: Portland State University (PSU) and Marylhurst University. I am now trying to make a decision between the two and there are many pros and cons for each. Mostly it comes down to cost vs. ranking. Portland State University (PSU) has a much higher ranking than Marylhurst but it is twice the cost ($50,000+ tuition vs. $26,000). I find both curriculums to be very similar and feel I would get a similar education from both. I just can't decide if a degree from PSU really will make the difference in terms of better job opportunities, etc. considering PSU itself isn't even a top school. At the end of the day, since neither are Ivy League schools-- will an MBA be an MBA on my resume? I just have a hard time justifying the extra price tag-- but would do so if I knew it would pay off in the long-run.
Any advice would be much appreciated-- I have to make a decision this week!
Thanks.
