The electronics company has unveiled what it claims to be the world's smallest network digital camcorder, the length of which is that of a handheld computer, and it weighs less than 11 ounces.

A. to be the world's smallest network digital camcorder, the length of which is that of a handheld computer, and it weighs

B. to be the smallest network digital camcorder in the world, which is as long as a handheld computer, weighing

C. is the smallest network digital camcorder in the world, which is as long as a handheld computer, and it weighs

D. is the world's smallest network digital camcorder, which is as long as a handheld computer and weighs

IMO D.

In Option A, "it" is ambiguous

In Option B, C "which is as long as a handheld computer" is modifying World instead of camcorder

In option E, "and" is missing before weighs. Also it is not parallel structured.

claims + that or infinitive is idiomatic => A vs B
A - llelism missing+ it ambiguous
B - IMO (which refers to camcorder not world; 'in the world' is missing critical phrase - so need to be closer to camorder)

A) "the length of which is that of a handheld computer, and it weighs " - Not parallel.
B) Wrongly implies that it is the handheld computer that weighs less than 11 ounces.
C) Parallelism error similar to the one in A.
D) Correct
E) Same error as in option B.

IMO A should be answer.

'claim to be' is correct idiom.

In B 'weighing' wrongly refers to computer

To me it appears a subjunctive case - so eliminated C/D/E.
claims + that or infinitive is idiomatic => A vs B
A - llelism missing+ it ambiguous
B - IMO (which refers to camcorder not world; 'in the world' is missing critical phrase - so need to be closer to camorder)
