Azor language institute has the interest of its students at heart. They could charge you a fortune for a short, two-week that promises you to teach everything about a language. But ALI prefers more thoughtful, realistic approach. They know that anything learned in a hurry is not really learned. The Azor language institute is not like other high priced courses. It actually teaches you something for your money. The price you pay is for personal, individual care, long-term use of teaching materials - in short, the component that comprises of quality education.

The advertisement is designed to convince reader which of the following?

A) Taking ALI course will enable you to learn everything about language.
B) Money is no object when education is concerned.
C) Other language courses are inadequate to teach you foreign language.
D) Paying more for a language course is always a guarantee that you'll receive a higher level education.
E) ALI has more convenient location than any of its competitors.

My concerns: Which type of question is this? Do we need to make a conclusion? OA is [spoiler]C, but the word foreign threw me off[/spoiler]. Is this a reasonable question?

A - > learn everything about a language , this choice is extreme stating that one who is taking the course learns everything.
B -> Again , this is extreme, draws a conclusion which is unwarranted,such an extreme conclusion is very difficult to chose always.
D -> Always a guarantee , is typically very difficult to justify and this cannot be the answer , bcos the argument tries to proove the point that even by paying less one can get a decent learning.
e -> no info on location is discussed.

C -> out of all choices , this is not extreme , becos it negates the idea , they know that anything learned in a hurry is not really learned, validates this

Its an inference question.

is it reasonable - well, these days the level of GMAT questions are really tricky so i would expect anything!!!!

Someone pls exlain where is the "foregin" angle coming from? passage doesnt talk about native or foreign

This is exactly how I solved this question. I would say it is not 100% right because nowhere in the passage is "foreign" mentioned, but it is the least wrong among the ones listed.

I picked C as well. as it is the least bad.

A -> is denied by the argument as it says not realistic to learn everything is what Azor says.
B -> money is considered an imp factor as arggument azor is not like other high priced courses.
D -> is strraightaway denied by the agument. paying high is not a gurantee to learn everything.
E-> location is out of scope of present argument and was never discussed#

hence among given choices only C is not contradicted by the argument
