IMO D.

A - Cause and Effect is reversed.

B. This answer choice doesn't have any flaw in it.

C. Same as above

D - Correct. Same cause and effect relationship and flaw in the answer choice.

E. Cause and Effect is reversed.

Structure of arg as I see it; bad teaching -->failures.
No failures --> not bad teaching.

Option d preserves structure; not enought work -->complain.
No complain -->enough work

B, C and E are eliminated since there are actual measures taken to improve the situation in each case. I'll have to eliminate A as well, since we should have "overeating" instead of weight gain in the last sentence.
