Computers manufactured after 1998

Hi Guys, plz find one question..

All computers manufactured after 1998 have a minimum processing speed of 400 MHz. My computer has a processing speed of 399 MHz.

Which of the following can definitely NOT be concluded from the above statements?
I) My computer was definitely manufactured after 1998.
II) My computer may have been manufactured in 1998.
III) If it had been manufactured a year later, my computer would have had a faster processing speed.

(A) I only

(B) II only

(3) III only

(D) I and III only

(E) II and III only

Edit : I misread the question. I thought it is asking what can be inferred.

II can only be inferred. Therefore, I and III can NOT be inferred.

I choose E. :(

Can you please explain it?

1st point is "My computer was definitely manufactured after 1998" which can be surely concluded from the passage rt?

If u read argument , it says "All computers manufactured after 1998 have a minimum processing speed of 400 MHz. My computer has a processing speed of 399 MHz. " So how can his computer be manufactured after 1998 and has a speed of 399.

The conclusion would be -My computer was definitely NOT manufactured after 1998, that's why its speed is less than 400

I would have gone with A --1 only

as III statement IMO may be true if computer is manufactured in 1998 with the speed < 400

Well St 1 cannot be concluded because the given fact says the ones manufactured after 1998 have a minimum speed of 400MHz. St 1 actually says the opposite of this. If the PC has a speed of 399MHz then it would have been manufactured before 1998 not after.

So that just leaves options A and D

Now St 3 cannot be concluded since we don't know when the 399MHz PC was manufactured in the year 1998 or before that. It could be manufactured in 1995 maybe.
So the answer is D

Yup so definitely, we can get an answer from the passage rt? I meant definitely NO as the answer.
But the other two cannot have a definite Yes/no from the passage.

Well the facts say that all computers manufactured AFTER 1998 have a minimum speed of 400MHz.

So we can conclude that our computer may have been manufactured in 1998.

So you mean the conclusion should be that 'My computer was definitely manufactured after 1998. ' But that goes against the given facts. The conclusion should support the given facts and not go against it. Its not about answering yes/no its about finding a statement which supports your given facts and only option 2 does that. Hence options 1 and 3 cannot be the conclusion.
