Standard deviation depends on deviation.
A. {2,2,5,8,8} => {-3,-3,0,3,3}
B. {3,4,5,6,7} => {-2-1,0,1,2}
C. {1,3,5,7,9} => {-4,-2,0,2,4}
D. {3,3,5,7,7} => {-2,-2,0,2,2}
E. {0,4,5,6,10} => {-5,-1,0,1,5}

Is there a strategic approach to this question?

This question seems to be lacking a... question. The concept invoked here is that if you add the same value to each element of a set, the standard deviation remains unchanged.
