Alex, the expression is (2^k)(5^(k-1)), please check.

(2^k)(5^(k-1)) = [2 * 2^(k - 1)] * 5^(k - 1)
= [spoiler]2 * 10^(k - 1)[/spoiler]

The correct answer is A.

Easy way will be to sub value for k. Lets assume k=2
Then (2^k)(5^(K-1)) = 20 (Target)

Now sub k=2 in answer choices, to get to the target.
