A 140+ point improvement in 2 weeks is not realistic. While I understand the nature of deadlines, it's important to define the REAL goal. I have to assume that your actual goal is to get a GMAT score that's high enough to improve your chances to get into Business School (your first-choice school and any others that you're planning to apply to).
There's no harm in taking your GMAT as planned, since Business Schools don't care if you take the GMAT more than once. However, if the likely scenario involves you continuing to study and then retaking the GMAT later, it might be better for you to just push your Test Date back and adjust your overall plan. At the very least, this will save you some money and remove some stress. You might also need to invest in some new GMAT study materials. It's difficult for most Test Takers to score 700+ on their own; most use some type of Course-based study (live class, self-study Course, tutor, etc.) to help them to succeed.
