I got the first 2 questions correct, understand the mistake i made in the 3rd one, but am not able understand why is E better than D in the 4th question.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Recently 2 star systems, the first to be detected out side our galaxy
Implies that these systems are not the only systems.There are others too
I am still not able to understand the 4th option. Option E doesn't anywhere implies that there are others too.

i could not locate the 2nd question.

1-A
3-D
4-E

@krishnasty:
Reason for D to be incorrect: We only know that the first symbiotic stars detected outside the galaxy are in Large Cloud of Magellan BUT we do NOT know whether they are the ONLY stars. No info is provide for that.

Reason for E to be correct: Lines 28-32 mentions that there is scarcity of symbiotic stars & if all binary systems pass through symbiotic phase, the phase must be extremely small so that it is left undetected. Now E says the same thing with a different language, if the phases had been more than a million years than most of them would have been detected.
