Hi Everyone.

Need your guidance in taking up the test. I have got month's time for my actual GMAT. Took my first MGMAT and got only 590 Q43 V29. Confident of getting at least 650 but it went pretty bad :(

CR, RC and DS are pulling my score down.

PS - 9/22 wrong
DS - 9/15 wrong
CR - 9/14 wrong
RC - 7/12 wrong
SC - 4/15 wrong

As far as I know I was getting tensed concerned about the time and chose answers a step ahead before reaching a definitive answers for most of the tough DS questions and 2 careless mistakes in quants :(. Same was the case with CR and RC that I was concentrating more on the time running so fast rather on the question that i failed to analyze and answer properly :(. While reviewing first I marked down the questions which went wrong and when I tried solving without any time limit I chose the right answer the second time for most of the wrong questions. When I was giving the test I finished both the sections 5 to 6 mins ahead of time. Each additional minute on one pblm in DS, CR, RC would have got me some 8 to 10 questions right at least considering the number of question i got right the second time.

I had gone through OG 12 and half of OG 11. Manhattan SC, Powerscore CR (Started with this of late) and still practicing on the approaches. I am not that good in geometry, probability, word problems (speed and work). So yet to practice more problems in that and the must gmat problems for Quants. Then improving on CR as well. Will do these in a week's time. RC am solving 3 passages daily in addition to that I started paraphrasing news articles which helps a lot in remembering the content of the paragraphs with which I could spend less time on searching for the answers as well as it helps for inference type questions. Took the mock test to get motivated a bit by getting a 650 minimum and prepare for 700 in coming weeks but unfortunately it turned the other way round. I am doubtful if I gave my best effort in the mock. Now I am getting afraid and confused if I could post pone the exam by few weeks and apply for round II with better score or I can go for it. Please help me out on this guys.
