Looking for advice regarding remaining on waitlists after accepting admissions to another school. I've been admitted to two schools and waitlisted at a few others. Unfortunately, I will be required to submit my enrollment deposit to the admitted schools before I hear back from the waitlisted schools. Although I'm excited to attend one of the schools I've been accepted to, I don't want to forgo the opportunity of being accepted to one of my waitlisted schools, as they are all better programs. Any suggestions?

You can always bit the bullet on the deposit if you get into a school you would rather attend. Also, contact the admissions department of the waitlisted school; talk to them about what you might be missing or if there is anything you should do. Don't be shy, it will be much more difficult for them to ding you if you have personal relationships with people from the admissions committee.
