GMAT Coaching | Jamboree

by [email protected] » Wed Nov 28, 2012 3:01 am
I plan to take GMAT Coaching from Jamboree Noida centre on weekends. Following are my reasons for the coaching:

1. My scores are all over the place. I need to be consistent with my scores
2. I need shortcuts for problems in math
3. My verbal is really week and somehow I am not able to figure out where am I going wrong everytime
4. To be consistent with the preparation

Please advice if any of you has been to the Noida Jamboree centreand if coaching is helpful. Looking forward to your inputs.

Also, would like to add here that I have already taken the GMAT twice but did not achieve my desired score.

I am also contemplating Jamboree for prep (Chandigarh). Had i been in the NCR region I would have taken Veritas Prep (starts early December) or MGMAT (assuming they have courses in that period) but i do not want to commute 4 hours to delhi everytime for a class. Have you considered one of these dedicated brands, that have tons of GMAT experience and material that is considered the gold standard?

Actually the Manhattan course is starting Feb 21 and veritas on Dec 9. So, I am going for a demo class on 9th to get an idea.

Veritas is opening in association with White glow consulting. Jamboree centre is near for me and I am going for a demo class on 2nd Dec. Will decide after dt. Class strength everywhere is 10 students per batch. I actually wanted feedback from students who have already taken their coaching.

I am also looking for feedback but for Jamboree i have heard that their Quality is not at par at all centers whereas companies like MGMAT, Veritas , Kaplan etc are stringent when it comes to the quality of their instructors..I am unlike most Indian candidates (strong in Quant, need help in verbal), as i find the tougher quant extremely difficult, but have crossed 75th percentile in Verbal with minimal study (aiming for V42)..This is the reason why i am interested in Jamboree (chandigarh) as i have heard their Quant prep is way better then their Verbal prep (i do not care much for Verbal prep, as i am pretty confident on my self prep for verbal). Do share your feedback after you take their demo class (jamboree)..I wish i could attend Veritas but that is Too much of a commute...

Hi Micks,

The other posts in this string are over 1.5 years old, so you might not be hearing back from any of them. I'd suggest that you also post this question in the Lounge Sub-Forum (on this site). You might get some responses there.
