Hi
I have a question regarding the admission deadlines for the universities Ive shortlisted (IE,IESE,IMD,NYU,HEC,INSEAD,NUS,Booth,LBS are some of them)

It looks like I would only have my GMAT score just after the 1st deadline so I can only make it by the 2nd.Does missing the 1st deadline for the above schools have a major impact????

Thanks

No. The general advice is apply in R1 if you are ready and able, but R2 is when most candidates submit their applications. You are totally fine with submitting R2. R3 has the worst odds and is only advisable if you're dead set on going that fall and are a non-traditional candidate.

Columbia is a major exception because they're rolling. Otherwise, good luck on the GMAT and gear up for Round 2!

Totally agree!
There is a slight advantage to R1, and a strategic one too (i.e. that you get some results before R2 deadlines, so you can shift your school strategy to reflect your results)... but overall for chances of getting in, they are basically the same.
