To get admission, you should have passed with 60% marks in BCA or BSc. (Computer Science) or BSc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years OR B.A. or BCom. or BSc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent+LPUNEST exam conducted by LPU.

Scholarships: You can get scholarships based on Percentage in Qualifying Exam/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification, LPUNEST, Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards. Financial Aid Financial Aid - Need-Based. Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their dependents. Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disabilities.

LPU is Punjab’s Best Computer Application College. The School of Computer Application at LPU is ranked among the 4 Computer Applications Institutes of India by NASSCOM.

The highest package offered for the MCA programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA.

The eligibility for the course is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or BSc (Computer Science) or BSc (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years OR B.A. or B Com or B Sc (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent.
In case a student has not studied computer as a subject in graduation, then he/she shall have to go through bridge/ additional courses (subjects) which may be scheduled before the commencement of classes or along with the regular classes. Students need not pay any additional amount for bridge/ additional courses. Clearing LPUNEST is a must.

(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

Note:-
In case a student has not studied computer as a subject in graduation, then he/she shall have to go through the bridge or additional courses (subjects) which may be scheduled before the commencement of classes or along with the regular classes. Students need not pay any additional amount for bridge or additional courses.
