Answer should be C.

D changes the meaning of the sentence, further, it uses passive voice. The sentence can do without passive voice here.

D says ... We should not anticipate a rally when the market opens
C says - no one anticipates a rally when markets open

Answer should be C.

A out because of 'they'
B out because of 'it'
D and E are passive and lack subject here.

Sudhanshu,

Can you shed some light on the "passive" topic.

Thanks

Buddy, I would love to explain you what is active and passive voice, but I am not an expert and don't want to give any wrong information. I am so sorry about that.

I can redirect you to below site or else some expert can shed some light on this concept.

I am sorry again
