I take the GMAT on Saturday. Overall I feel pretty good about it. I've been working in the OG 11 main book and the green Quant. one. In all sections I was most recently working towards the end of each section, which I assume contains more difficult questions. In total I've taken 3 CAT practices: Kaplan (550) GMATPrep (590) GMATPrep 2 (600?). I accidentally clicked past my score on this last one, but I got two more questions right in Quant. and one less in Verbal, so I think around 600 is fair.
Verbal as a whole is no problem. I think I can handle just about and CR, SC and RC. My biggest weakness is probably RC, but I think if I just take my time to do it right and not rush I'll be fine. On my last practice test I missed 13 questions, but I feel like these were careless mistakes more than anything. I've worked on that and will be mindful to fully read the questions and try not to repeat my errors.
Quant. is a little more troubling. While I've improved, I still struggle in certain areas.
Easy-Medium DS questions should be no problem, but I still struggle with the more difficult ones. In the OG Quant. book I've been getting around 60% of the most difficult DS correct. I'm comfortable with the format and how to approach, but sometimes I feel like I miss a certain possiblility that would change my answer. I'm confident that I can handle almost any DS that's thrown at me, but we'll see.
I feel I have a good grasp of most of the the concepts that are tested in the Quant. section. I'm good with numbers properties, geometry, algebra, equations, etc. My biggest weakness is probability and combination. While I've worked on these areas, I haven't primarily focused on them because I have been told that these questions are much less frequent and I honestly don't know how much I can improve on them in the short time I have left. I can handle easier ones, but there's a 1/5 chance I'll guess on the harder ones.
Not worried about the AWA. Have a good template ready and feel I write well enough to do fine.
I would like some comments about where I stand and any last minute words of wisdom. Today and tomorrow will be light study days as I try to relax, but some advice can't hurt.
Wish me luck. I'm pretty confident that I'll do better than I have on practice tests and have learned from my mistakes.
