I took the GMAT this past weekend and my unofficial score was terrible. The school I'm applying to told me that all I need to get in is to score above 500 to get accepted, their average is 540-610. I'm using Manhatten GMAT flash cards, GMAT review books, and attended a workshop. Can anyone help or offer any suggestions? I'm taking it again July 23 to meet their Fall 2011 deadline.
A few questions you might need to answer.
1. What was your Quant and Verbal split?
2. What has been the weaker areas?
3. What has been your strategy?
4. What do you think has been the problem?
5. How do you think you can fix this?
You have a clear 1 month and getting a 500 is do-able. You just need to focus on the right technique. However this requires a bit of introspection on your part. There are no silver bullets. There are no magic wands.
