A little background: because of several personal reasons, I didn't decide on taking the GMAT until very late and have only been preparing for 2 weeks... my test date is October 14th... crazy, I know.
Anyway, I took my first full-length practice exam today and I have a question about the scoring (BTW the test was from the official test-prep software from mba.com).
After completing my practice test, it gave me a verbal score in the 97th percentile and a quantitative score in the 68th percentile (I ran out of time with 5 questions to go
)... but it gave me a total score in the 92nd percentile...
How does that make sense? Shouldn't my "blah" quantitative score bring me down a lot more? Is the software broken?
The scores were 44, 44, and 710, in case you were wondering.
