I will pay you $20 to use the Beat The GMAT! Forum

[UPDATE, 5.2.06: I'm ending this promotion. A $20 gift certificate will be awarded at the end of May, but no other certificates will be awarded thereafter]

As an incentive to get you to participate in the Beat The GMAT! Forum, I am happy to announce that for the rest of 2006, I will award a $20 gift certificate from Amazon.com to the top poster (the person that contributes the most high-quality posts) each month!

Just use this forum as you normally would to post questions/answer questions, and you may earn $20 simply by being an active contributor!

Some conditions:
  • There will be some subjectivity in who rightly earns these awards. DO NOT post a lot of messages for the sake of posting messages to get your 'statistics' high--I will be monitoring this board carefully, and if you flood this board with many unnecessary posts, you'll certainly be disqualified from this promotion.
  • Top contributors who win this award will ideally ask as many questions as they answer other people's questions.
  • A person can win the $20 gift certificate a maximum of once every three months.
Thanks for helping me build a great GMAT community!

Thanks, Oxygen. This site is officially 11 days old--I suppose we just need to be patient. I am optimistic that there will be more buzz in the near future.

Help spread the word! And let us keep building terrific content...

I'm ending this promotion

Dear Forum:

I've decided to stop this promotion--I've come to the conclusion that this money can be used more effectively to invest into this site and invest into more substantial future scholarships.

I will provide a gift certificate for the top poster at the end of May--but no other certificates will be awarded subsequently.

Thanks for helping me build a great community!

Thanks a lot, Eric.

i was quite conscious about this announcement, therefore at times it was making me nervous whether i am posting here too much   ?

but i think i have not posted messages just for sake of getting highest no. of posts.

i have been watching this site since 6-7 months. it's metamorphosed and i am sure one day it will be a great site like pagalguy.com

Great bunch of people are contributing this site.

i find myself lucky as i have decided to postpone my gmat date.

i am sticking to this forum so that i could take much benefit from good company of you folks, captain, moderators and rest of members.

the purpose of this $20 incentive is to spread the word and expand this site in all ways;
so i again promise i ll do some marketing (as i once did) for this site.
