GMAT break up of score

Hi, quick question on the algorithm of GMAT -

Is verbal worth 400 points and math worth 400 points or is your score just the average of the 2 from 1-800?

Also, one more question:

When I took the GMAT Prep, I answered the last 10 questions wrong due to time constraints.

How much do you think that could have impacted my raw score in verbal, and thus my overall score?
