Set A, Set B, and Set C each contain only positive integers. If Set A is composed entirely of all the members of Set B plus all the members of Set C, is the median of Set B greater than the median of Set A?
(1) The mean of Set A is greater than the median of Set B.
(2) The median of Set A is greater than the median of Set C.

Mean is the average of all the integers and median is the middle number. When set contains odd number of values the median is the middle number when integers are written in increasing or decreasing order. when set contains even number then the median is the mean of middle two number. Mean and median of any set could be different for example set B has integers 5, 17, 24, 25 and 28 . the mean of this set is 19.8 and median is 24. Now coming towards question
Question asks is the median of the set B greater than the median of the set A
According to Statement 1)The mean of Set A is greater than the median of Set B. Pick different numbers for each set and each time you will get different values, You can not answer this question for sure..Insufficient
According to statement 2) The median of Set A is greater than the median of Set C. this statement doesn't say anything about B...Insufficient

the question asks you "is the median of Set B greater than the median of Set A?" and according to statement 2) median of set A is greater than Set C...No information about set B is given and dont forget Set A is the combination of Set B and C. Can you asnwer the question for sure when their is No information about Set B? so Insufficient
