Yes, At LPU, performing arts degrees are generally either practice-based (involving a great deal of actual performance) or academic, which combines practical work with analysis of the background of the subject. Teaching is therefore likely to be delivered through a mix of practical workshops and lectures. Most performing arts degrees provide an overall foundation spanning various disciplines, before asking students to choose a particular pathway. LPU offers dedicated degrees for each of the main three branches of performing arts – music, dance and drama. You may also be able to specialize in a more obscure art form during your degree (read the ‘specializations’ tab for more information). Take a close look at course descriptions to see if they sound right for you and your interests. Master of Performing Arts Duration : 2 yrs. (4 Semesters) This credential intends to create a fully equipped music professional. It focuses on the development of research skills with a liberal arts perspective preparing students for further studies and plays a significant role in the development of the musical culture in its multiple dimensions. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent. Admission Criteria Merit in qualifying examination.

LPU receives highest NAAC grade i.e. A++ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education , Government of India .
Yes dear , you are eligible for taking admission in Master of Performing Arts programme in LPU . This credential intends to create a fully equipped music professional. It focuses on the development of research skills with a liberal arts perspective preparing students for further studies and plays a significant role in the development of the musical culture in its multiple dimensions. The eligibility of programme is - Pass in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent.
The programme fees per semester is 50000 INR , without any scholarship . You can take direct admission from admission.lpu.in. . But , if you want to reduce course fees, then you can apply for test , in which you will get scholarship of up to 50% and that scholarship will remain applicable till the duration of course .
Apart from this , the university offer other scholarships also which are mentioned below -
Scholarship based on Innovation, Startup & Entrepreneurship
Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards.
Financial Aid -
Need Based
Defense and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependents
