Usage of "Aware of" and "Aware that"

The difference is that we use "aware of" to introduce a phrase, whereas "aware that" introduces a clause,
e.g. Is he aware of the problem?
Are they aware that I am coming?
e.g. Is he aware of the problem?
Are they aware that I am coming?
