HI All,

I have one doubt, pls support...

Lets say there is a sentence based upon cause and effect relationship, so which is the most preffered..
As sources of electrical power, windmills now account for only about 2,500 megawatts
nationwide, but production is almost expected to double by the end of the year, thus providing
enough electricity for 1.3 million households.

nationwide, but production is almost expected to double by the end of the year, hence providing enough electricity for 1.3 million households.

"thus" & "hence" are used for "result" part of the sentence.. "verb+ing" is used for cause-effect & embedded parts..

Out of these 3 sentences, I will select only "providing" because of concision.. i.e.

As sources of electrical power, windmills now account for only about 2,500 megawatts nationwide, but production is almost expected to double by the end of the year, providing enough electricity for 1.3 million households.

I don't think that GMAC will give such ambiguous options...
