Declining revenues resulting from a decrease in business travel, a source of income without which most commercial airlines could not survive, are going to force many commercial airlines to increase prices and decrease services in the coming months

(A) a source of income without which most commercial airlines could not survive, are

Business travel is singular, Please explain me guys why did you chose 'are'

Meaning of sentence as I see
No business travel = No money for airlines
First take: 640 (50M, 27V) - RC needs 300% improvement
Second take: coming soon..

here what is the 'source of income'.. Decreasing revenues 'are' not the source of income.. The source of income 'is' business travel.

"a source of income.." modifies the noun closest to it, i.e. "business travel". So the source of income is business travel. Which you are absolutely dead on!

I am not sure if I understand your query.
