Aiming 700+

by ankitrathi » Mon Apr 02, 2007 10:40 pm
1)I started with random tracking but then I felt If I can track my preparation day to day, It will be much better. Currently, I am on Day 7 .

2) As I am working, I can spend only 2 hours daily and I can not devote more than 4 hours in weekends too. I don't want to be burnt-out.

3)But I feel I need more GMAT like tests in the end to boost my confidence as I know Kaplan results will be frustrating one.Can any body tell me how to get PowerPrep?

4) For starters, I will suggest you to look at my blog https://preptrackergmat.blocked/. It will be a great help if GMAT Expert can review it.

WOW.

What a detailed schedule! I'm impressed by your diligence in putting this together. One thing I'd like to advise is to have some room for flexibility. You may find that you are stronger or weaker in a certain area of the GMAT, and would be better served adjusting your focus in other areas.

In terms of PowerPrep--the software package is no longer available from MBA.com. I don't know where you can find it elsewhere as well.

Best of luck!

Yes Eric,

I will reschedule it Once I start with Official Guide. By that time (after giving GMATPrep1) I will know what are the areas to improve. And I will discuss with you how to tackle those particular flaws.I am consuming 72 days, 10-12 days I will add in between if necessary.

By now, I am taking my time to understand all the sections seperately. And I think my learning and strike rate has improved a lot in SC and CR, thanks to Kaplan Material.

Thanks for your review comments and encouragement, Eric. I have read all your day to day blogs and they are simply amazing. That inspired me to improve my approach.

Well, a bit dissappointed now I am, could not give much time in weekdays.

I have taken a lot of time in CR and Thank God it got finished.Kaplan is pretty tough in this section but it will help overall.

Thanks Johny for your suggestion.

I would love to write but I don't get enough time as I am hardly able to finish the task I have allotted in my schedule due to office obligations. But I will surely write if I get anything serious to share in the blog.
